Richard E. Stahl
I work with clients to jointly create original designs and models for many projects. My services are provided to architects, contractors and private individuals. Quality and accuracy are first and foremost in all my work.
I am a third generation stone carver with 22 years of experience. I started working with stone at age six, alongside my father at his Indiana limestone mill. After high school, I began my stone carving apprenticeship.
In 1980, I became a Journeyman Stone Carver and devoted full-time to the craft. I opened my own part-time studio in 1983. In 1998, I became self-employed full-time in my own studio and continue to produce unique sculptures and stone carvings.

“At an early age I learned the satisfaction of working with my hands to create unique, quality sculptures and stone carvings using traditional stone carving tools and techniques to produce my work.”
