Jack Kendall was a legendary carver from Indiana who worked all over this country. Shortly before he died, he told us of his dream for a guild of American stone carvers — a small, select group to promote and continue the craft, maintaining standards and keeping the skills alive. He asked that we speak with other carvers and try to create such a group.

Limestone Company on his 70th birthday.
